Volunteers needed! Stop by Wark Street Commons between 6-8pm on the 20th or between 10am-1pm on the 29th for a physically distanced work party. No garden experience necessary - all are welcome to join. Bring home seeds and starts! The garden (like many of us) is in need of some TLC! Come hang out and help alongside the people, plants and pollinators of Quadra Village. Drop ins welcome at either event. Tools, gloves and sanitizer will be provided - volunteers are encouraged to bring their own if they are able.

On the week of April 10-16th, 2016, the staff, community and fellow volunteers of Quadra Village Community Centre will celebrate National Volunteer Week!  This week-long celebration aims to higlight and honour the selfless and impactful work our 100+ volunteers provide on a weekly, and even daily basis at Quadra Village Community Centre.  Our centre and staff team would not be able to provide the level or care and service that we do without the unwavering support of our volunteers.

Share your QVCC experience with other volunteers, receive updates of programs and services, provide suggestions and opinions and enjoy a coffee in our comfortable Rose Room. Additional topics for discussion are selected by attending volunteers.

No meetings occur on Statutory holidays.

Come join your neighbours at the Invasive Species Eradication Party in Summit Park this coming Sunday, September 28th, from 10am to noon (ish).

Meet at Blackwood entrance, rain or shine! Bring appropriate clothes and tools (if you have them).

This is a joint venture of NAG and the Friends of Summit Park.

Volunteers make a big difference to the quality of life in our community and our ability to run a welcoming, inclusive community centre with meaningful programs.  Thanks to all our current volunteers  for their time, effort and presence.
